San Zhi resort

Found  a cool article on Cracked.com about the 6 Creepiest Places on Earth, my favourite of which is this space-age crackerjack joint in Taipei called the San Zhi Resort.

A quick Inteweb trawl has revealed that the history of the place is all a bit hush-hush. It was designed as a holiday destination for the rich in the 70s/80s, but a load of people died whilst it was being built and they may or may not be running around the Plan 9-style pods haunting it and generally making a nuisance of themselves.  No one seems to want to talk about it, so it must be 100% pure factoid. Either way, it looks pretty awesome.

It’s a bit of a tourist attraction now, but you’d have to give me a bucketload of gold to stay the night there alone with some weird Taiwanese spectres.
