The third-most complete T-Rex skeleton is going under the hammer in Vegas. This is excellent news, and according to Wired:
“the 66 million-year-old fossil was found 22 years ago in South Dakota and has come to be known as Samson. It is 40 feet long and 15 feet tall and consists of around 170 bones, more than half of a complete skeleton.”
What is not excellent news, however, is that it’s expected to fetch somewhere between $2m – $8m, which rather prices me out. He would’ve looked smashing in my front garden.
