In the never-ending arms race to produce ever more complex ways of interacting, I think we sometimes lose sight of the fact that people like simple, fun, frivolous stuff.

And here’s a great example of this from Sweden that made 66% more people take the stairs instead of the escalator. If we installed this in places across the UK, maybe we won’t all die of heart disease.
