The debate was called Notes & Neurons: In Search of the Common Chorus, and Mr Don’t Worry used a bit of fun crowd participation to demonstrate the pentatonic scale. And although it pains me to say so, I…actually….quite…enjoyed…it.

LASTLY, THE CODEORGAN SELECTS A DRUM LOOP BASED UPON THE RATIO OF CHARACTERS ON THE PAGE VERSUS THE NUMBER OF CHARACTERS THAT ARE ACTUALLY MUSICAL NOTES – THERE ARE CURRENTLY 10 DIFFERENT DRUM LOOPS TO PICK FROM.”

So there you have it. In case you were wondering (which you probably weren’t), this is what Goldfish Syndrome sounds like.

Whilst the last Conservative outdoor campaign was far from great, this new Labour one is is a truly terrible piece of advertising that positively wreaks of ‘first idea’.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a good pun. LOVE. But this headline is beyond shit. It’s overly complicated and patronising. It’s grotesquely smug. It’s unnecessarily negative and alienating. It’s uninspiring, lazy and boring. And it leaves me more confused than I was before.

In short, it’s a breathtaking brilliant distillation of how I feel about most UK politicians and politics in general. So maybe it isn’t shit at all. Maybe it’s truly insightful.

Or maybe not.

Forget the wheel, penicillin, the Internet, takeaway pizza and the iPod – this is the greatest invention of all time. Fact.

It was done by Saatchi & Saatchi in Argentina, and hopefully they’ll install one in every single pub and bar in London. Even the shit ones, just in case.

Bristol – the unofficial Home of the Slave Trade™ – is in the West Country, an area where people spend all day pointing at planes and burning witches. Occasionally at the same time. Fortunately my parents moved from the city shortly before I was born, but unfortunately my friend Paul Parry moved there last year. And I’m off to visit him this weekend to watch his brilliant Literally stand-up show.

I’ve seen Literally 23,128 times in London and twice at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2008 and I’m still not bored of it. This may partly be due to the minute ego-boost I receive through a very brief mention near the start of the performance, but is probably more to do with it being a genuinely funny, original and charming show.

It garnered excellent reviews at the Fringe and is available for your viewing pleasure at the times mentioned on the poster above (which I designed – the first time I’ve ever attempted such a thing). So buy your tickets now, or else you’ll make the Literally Tsar angry. And you wouldn’t like him when he’s angry.

This is the second example of this type of animation I’ve seen recently and is even better than the Parkour one. It’s an absolutely stunning piece of work which even manages to include a spunking nob without descending into smut – something I would never have thought possible.

It’s official. Every single script that can ever be filmed has already been made. And so, with Hollywood facing imminent doom, the only logical thing to do was to create a movie called Midgets Vs Mascots and get Gary Coleman to star in it. Comedy gold guaranteed.

Sometimes the answer to all your problems is staring you right in the face. And other times, at about waist-level.
