Winter wonderland

Snow makes almost everything look more beautiful. And when the entire country ground to a halt a few months ago, I nipped out to my local park and took a few photos.

The squirrels were unbelievably tame.

A couple of pigeons having a chat.

This guy was a bit camera-shy.

And this lot just looked really lost.

Colour scape

Last Saturday we went down to Clapham Common to have a look at Colour Scape, which has been running for about twenty years.

Billed as a music festival, it’s basically a bunch of incredibly bright tents which you wander around inside whilst listening to some godawful free-form saxophone noodling. After a while you become completely disorientated and all you can see are dazzling primary colours and the odd child running around in search of some Ritalin. And it’s a pretty amazing experience.
